For starters I LOVE the series this is from. The line art is awesome...the coloring is a little blotchy in spots but nothing that can't...

Love the sheen on the boots and metal accents on the scabbard. Also the coloring is excellent. But that sleeve on the arm closest to th...

Even from an early age I had the drive to become a professional artist. This led me to gain a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. Aside from that I also studied Sequential Arts/Art Education at University of Maryland Eastern Shore for several years, and graduated from Art Instructional Schools.

Despite the heavy immersion I have had in comics and illustration I have marveled at the works of Van Gogh, Munch, Da Vinci. Arcimboldo is a personal favorite of mine. I want to one day find a way to use my art to tell fantastic stories that will captivate the viewer.
I'm inspired by numerous artists in numerous fields:
Van Gogh, Cezanne, Rembrandt, and Rodin -Fine Arts
McFarlane, Miller, Choi, Lee, Kubert - American Comics
Hirano, Nightow- Manga
  • Listening to: This is Gospel by Panic! At the Disco
  • Playing: Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2
  • Eating: Wheat bread with Neutella on it
  • Drinking: Peppermint Tea
Well I'm slowly grinding down....or is life grinding me down? As an aspiring professional artist I pride myself on a certain flexibility to my work. Problem is I am not able to contribute financially to my household on the $280 a month I get as a Cartoonist for the local paper, plus I'm supposed to start teaching InDesign for a measely $20 an hour for 3 hrs a week for the next 6 weeks. Here in the Caribbean you get paid a monthly salary....and unless you're wealthy or in is tough to earn and save as cost of living is a sonovabitch.
I love it here to a degree, I just wish I could do more, and work smarter instead of harder.
