Well I'm slowly grinding down....or is life grinding me down? As an aspiring professional artist I pride myself on a certain flexibility to my work. Problem is I am not able to contribute financially to my household on the $280 a month I get as a Cartoonist for the local paper, plus I'm supposed to start teaching InDesign for a measely $20 an hour for 3 hrs a week for the next 6 weeks. Here in the Caribbean you get paid a monthly salary....and unless you're wealthy or in politics....money is tough to earn and save as cost of living is a sonovabitch.
I love it here to a degree, I just wish I could do more, and work smarter instead of harder.

New Jobs
Well I'm not drawing as much these days due to working two jobs, working on gaining a drivers license and saving up some funds for a vehicle. But stay tuned friends....the best is yet to come. So far I have fan art of Trinity Blood, and Castlevania Lord of Shadows cooking on the back burner. Like I said...coming soon
Hello Sint Maarten/Saint Martin!!
Well about 3 months and 10 days ago I was sitting in Miami International Airport SCARED AS HELL! I'd gotten my college degree and tickets to leave North Carolina, The United States, and my old life behind. A few hours later I was landing here on this island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.
I've been here long enough to see that the place is a Mecca for artists, foodies, boozehounds, and man whores. I married my long-time girlfriend who is a local too. :3 All I can say is plenty of inspiration....today I intend to run out and capture some.
FINAL SEMESTER!!!
Well it's the beginning of the end.
I managed to pass every course at the end of last semester and now the months are passing where I'm going to graduate and leave college, and the U.S.
Hopefully I can get a few commissions to make enough money to afford the move.
I've got a senior show to prepare for and many things I need to do...

No Studio Work? God Help Me!
Well I'm back at ECSU as a full time student and with only 28 credits remaining until I graduate I feel like the finish line is in sight.
But I'm not in the studio this semester so I feel like I am losing my marbles. So commission some work people. I'd appreciate it.
